Download This Application So You Can Enter The Mall Safely And Smoothly
JAKARTA - The government has begun to allow shopping centers or malls to operate in a number of cities, although it is still PPKM Level 4 for a trial run. There are several conditions that must be met by the public if they want to visit a shopping center, namely a COVID-19 vaccine certificate to a Cares Protect account.
Therefore, the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Shopping Center Management Association (APPBI) Alphonzus Widjaja appealed to anyone who wants to visit a shopping center or mall to download or download the PeduliLindung application first.
"Please download it before coming to the shopping center. Then register the account before coming to the shopping center. This is to avoid long queues at the shopping center," he said in a virtual press conference, Wednesday, August 11.
Furthermore, Alphonzus said, there will be a screening queue in two queues. First, there is a special queue for those who have not had time to download or download the PeduliLindung application and create the account. Second, there is a special queue for those who have downloaded and have an account on the PeduliLindung application.
"That's the arrangement that will be made and what has been done by the shopping center. For example, yesterday in Kota Kasablanka, when the Minister of Trade visited there, there were already two queues divided," he said.
Alphonzus said that shopping centers continue to carry out health protocols that have been implemented during the pandemic which has lasted for a period of 1.5 years. Such as checking body temperature, wearing masks, washing hands, regulating the use of elevators, escalators, and toilets.
"Even though you pass the mandatory vaccination screening, if you don't pass the health protocol screening that I mentioned earlier, you are still not allowed to enter," he said.
As previously reported, the government has added requirements to enter shopping centers or malls, namely having a negative PCR test result and or an antigen swab. The goal is to convince mall managers that those who visit are healthy people.
The Director General of Domestic Trade of the Ministry of Trade (Kemendag), Oke Nurwan explained that this requirement applies only to mall visitors who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19. Meanwhile, those who have received vaccine injections only need to show a vaccine certificate.
"I reiterate regarding the negative results of PCR or antigen. I emphasize that this applies to visitors who are not vaccinated. For health reasons, for those who cannot be vaccinated, use Antigen or PCR within 24 hours," he said.
Okay, saying that those who have been vaccinated can show proof of vaccination certificates in the PeduliLindung application, are in good health, and wear masks.
"For those who have been vaccinated and the PeduliLidungi application can scan directly during the trial period, those who want to shop in good health," he said.
