JAKARTA - The Secretariat General of the House of Representatives (DPR) has implemented a breath-based COVID-19 detection device, GeNose C19, as a condition for entering the parliament complex area starting August 16. The use of GeNose C19 as a medical tool for early detection of the COVID-19 virus.

It is hoped that GeNose can be used in any location that has the potential for crowds to occur. For example, it is used for members or guests who enter the area within the DPR, MPR and DPD buildings.

According to him, the tool made by Gadjah Mada University (UGM) is a domestically made device whose capabilities have been tested and are accurate. With the government's belief that using GeNose, it can be widely used in all levels of society. "Moreover, the use of GeNose is also instant, simple and user friendly, it only takes a few minutes. Our partners whose antigens have expired can immediately use GeNose at the location," he said.
