Succeeding The XX 2021 National Sports Week In Papua, Central Indonesian National Sports Committee Intensively Cooperate With Partners

JAKARTA - In order to successfully organize the XX National Sports Week (PON) 2021 in Papua, the Central Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) is intensively collaborating with various parties.

Tuesday, August 10, KONI signed two memorandums of understanding, namely with the Republic of Indonesia Radio Public Broadcasting Institute (LPP RRI) and PT. Aero Globe Indonesia (AGI).

"God willing, the signing of these two memorandums of understanding will have a very positive impact on the progress of the sporting achievements that we are currently working on together", said the General Chair of the Central KONI Marciano Norman in his official statement.

Marciano emphasized that the Central KONI wants every talented athlete in the region to be well monitored by the media, especially RRI.

Similarly, RRI Program Director Soleman Yusuf also conveyed his party's desire to report sports achievements. According to him, sports news can have a positive impact on society.

"It's not just information, even to entertain and motivate the community, that's why we welcome RRI's collaboration with the Central KONI", he said.

Beyond that, there are similarities between achievement sports and one of the principles of LPP RRI, namely the glue and unification of the Indonesian nation.

Meanwhile, the Central KONI chose PT. AGI because of more than 40 years of experience in the field of travel, network in various regions, and complete service facilities. PT. AGI is the air transportation provider option for the XX PON contingent in Papua from 33 provinces.
