The Highest Death Case Is From Central Java, Followed By East Java, East Kalimantan And Yogyakarta

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health noted that Central Java was at the top of the list related to the increase in the number of patients who died from COVID-19 on Friday, August 6.

The Ministry of Health's daily data recorded the addition of patients who died from COVID-19 in Central Java reached 440 people.

East Java ranks second with 380 patients died. In the third position, West Java with 107 patients died.

East Kalimantan and DI Yogyakarta came next with 87 and 72 patients who died, respectively.

The total number of patients who died from COVID-19 in Indonesia on Friday reached 1,635 people.

The addition of the number of positive COVID-19 cases as of Friday reached 39,532 cases throughout Indonesia with West Java and East Java at the top with the addition of 4,580 cases and 4,490 cases, respectively.

In the third and fourth positions are East Nusa Tenggara with the addition of 3,598 cases and Central Java which has an increase of 3,022 cases.

Riau is in fifth place with the addition of the number of positive COVID-19 cases, namely 2,205 cases.

The Ministry of Health also noted that 48,832 patients in Indonesia had recovered from COVID-19 transmission as of Friday. The highest figure came from West Java with 8,028 recovered patients and Central Java with 7,966 recovered patients.

Banten ranks third in the number of patients who have recovered, namely 6,899 patients, East Java is in fourth place with 5,007 patients. Then DKI Jakarta is in fifth place with 3,211 patients.
