500 Thousand Sinopharm Vaccines Come, Erick Thohir's Subordinates Ask Private Companies To Register For Mutual Cooperation Vaccinations

JAKARTA - As many as 500 thousand Sinopharm vaccines from China arrived at Soekarno-Hatta Airport today. The Sinopharm vaccine is used in the Mutual Cooperation Vaccination program, which is a paid vaccine that the company participates in for its employees.

Deputy Minister of SOE I (BUMN), Pahala Nugraha Mansyuri asked companies that have not been registered in this self-vaccination scheme to participate so that employees and their families can be vaccinated.

"We urge you to contact us immediately or with Kadin. So, we can accelerate the vaccination process, which is known to be an effort from all of us to be able to contribute to increasing the number of vaccinations per day, which is targeted to reach 2 million vaccinations per day", said Pahala in the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube video, Tuesday, August 3.

After today's arrival, Indonesia currently has a total of 8 million doses of the Sinopharm vaccine. Pahala said that the arrival of the Sinopharm vaccine was a collaboration between SOEs, namely Biofarma and Kimia Farma, and Kadin.

"In accordance with the direction of the President, we must strive so that the arrival of this vaccine can be as soon as possible so that it can be used by the community, especially in this case are business entities and legal entities that have employees, families, or the surrounding community, which are expected to be able to vaccinated by the legal entity as well as the business entity", he explained.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Shinta Widjaja Kamdani, said that the supply of Sinopharm vaccine is no longer limited, given the availability of 500 thousand doses of vaccine today.

"In the beginning, the supply of vaccines was still limited. But at this point it is far enough to be allocated for all companies interested in participating", said Shinta.
