Waiting For Akidi Tio's Child To Become A Suspect Or Prove The Truth Of 2 Trillion Money
JAKARTA - The South Sumatra Police have finished examining Akid Tio's son, Haryanti and several other parties regarding the issue of Rp2 trillion in aid for handling COVID-19.
Thus, further investigation steps will be carried out soon. The goal is to prove the money is true or not.
The Head of Public Relations of South Sumatra, Kombes Supriadi, said that in this matter, no suspect has been named. All are still under investigation.
"No suspect has been determined," Supriadi told reporters, Monday, August 2.
Then, Supriadi corrected the statement from the Director of Intelligence and Security at the South Sumatra Police, who previously stated that Heryanti had become a suspect. The reason is that the authority to determine suspects lies with the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation.
"The one who has named the suspect is Mr. Dirkrimum," he said.
"In the investigation process, the Directorate of Criminal Justice has the authority. And he said this is still in the process of being investigated," continued Supriadi.
In addition, in the investigation that has been completed, one of the materials is to seek information about the truth of the Rp2 trillion money. Because, there are various assumptions about this.
"We are currently processing this, we are calling the person concerned to come to the Regional Police to confirm whether or not the Rp2 trillion money will be handed over," he said.
Several allegations have developed, namely, the source of the money came from an account in Singapore to the loan proceeds. However, Supriadi emphasized that until now there has been no information about this.
"There is no (information), there is no such information," said Supriadi.
On the other hand, Supriadi said that in this matter no prank or other elements were found. However, the disbursement of aid in the form of a bilyet giro has encountered problems.
"There is no prank, because Akidi Tio is true. The plan is that this assistance will be channeled through bilyet giro. But in time it can only be disbursed. Currently this bilyet giro cannot be disbursed because there are technicalities that must be completed," said Supriadi
However, if in the investigation process elements of lies are found, then criminal sanctions can ensnare them. All will be processed according to the rules and applicable laws
"We will process it according to what is in effect, but the person concerned is still being investigated. The bilyet giro has not been disbursed, it is still waiting for the funds and the status has not been received. We will also investigate where the source of this aid fund came from," said Supriadi.
For information, the South Sumatra Police received Rp. 2 trillion in funds for handling COVID-19 for handling COVID-19.
This assistance was provided by the family of the late Akidi Tio, a successful businessman from Langsa City, East Aceh Regency through their family doctor in Palembang, Prof dr Hardi Darmawan.
The distribution of aid funds was also handed over to the South Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Eko Indra Heri and witnessed by South Sumatra Governor H Herman Deru, South Sumatra Health Service Head Lesty Nuraini and 044/Gapo Danrem, Brigadier General Jauhari Agus Suraji.
However, until now the money has not been given. It is even suspected that Heryanti was just lying about the Rp2 trillion money.
