During PPKM Level 4, DKI Requires Vaccination For Work From Office Employees

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government issued a regulation requiring essential and critical sector workers to be vaccinated if they work from the office or work from office (WFO) during the PPKM Level 4.

This is stated in the Decree of the Head of the Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Office of DKI Number 1972 of 2021 concerning the COVID-19 Prevention and Control Protocol in Private, BUMN or BUMD Offices at PPKM Level 4 COVID-19.

"The company's leadership only allows the implementation of WFO for workers or workers who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 at least dose 1 of vaccine," said Head of the DKI Manpower and Transmigration Office Andri Yansyah, quoted from the decree on Friday, July 30.

In addition, the company leadership issued a Decree on the formation of a COVID-19 Handling Team consisting of company leaders; the personnel, occupational safety and health (K3) section; medical personnel in occupational health services; and security/security officers.

The following are the details of the health protocol in the workplace at PPKM Level 4 Jakarta:

1. Non-essential sector: Work from home (WFH) is 100 percent.

2. Essential sector

a. Finance and banking only covers insurance, banks, pawnshops, pension funds, and financial institutions that are oriented to physical services with customers: Work from office (WFO) by 50 percent for locations related to services to the community, with stricter implementation of health protocols . WFO of 25 percent is for office administration services to support operations, with stricter implementation of health protocols.

b. Capital market essential sector (oriented to customer service and good capital market operations); information and communication technology includes cellular operators, data centers, internet, postal services, media related to the dissemination of information to the public; and non-COVID-19 quarantine handling hotels are subject to WFO of 50 percent with stricter implementation of health protocols

c. Export-oriented industrial essential sectors where the company must show proof of sample export notification documents (PEB) for the last 12 months or other documents showing export plans and are required to have an operational permit and industrial activity mobility (IOMKI): - WFO of 50 percent only in production facilities/factories, with stricter implementation of health protocols. - WFO of 10 percent for office administration services to support operations, with stricter implementation of health protocols.

d. The essential sector in the government sector that provides public services that cannot be delayed, the implementation of WFO is at most 25 percent, with the implementation of health protocols more stringently.

3. Critical sectors:

a. health, security and order: WFO of 100 percent with stricter implementation of health protocols.

b. disaster management, energy, logistics, transportation, and distribution, especially for the community's basic needs, food and beverages and their supports, including for livestock/pets, fertilizers and petrochemicals, cement and building materials, national vital objects, national strategic projects, construction (public infrastructure) ), and basic utilities (electricity, water, and waste management): - WFO of 100 percent only for production/construction facilities/services to the community, with stricter implementation of health protocols. - WFO of 25 percent for office administration services to support operations, with stricter implementation of health protocols.
