Secretary Of DKI DPRD Denies There Is A Third Dose Of COVID-19 Vaccination Influencer In His Office
JAKARTA - Viral on social media is a screenshot of a photo of an influencer on Instagram claiming to have received a third dose of COVID-19 vaccination (booster).
In the circulating image, the figure of the influencer is blurred. What you can see is that he is in a white room. On the wall in the room, the logo of the DKI DPRD is plastered.
This made the netizens assume that the influencer received a vaccine booster at the DPRD building.
"For the third vaccine, which is said to be using Moderna, we don't have it and it has never been given in the DPRD building, booster or third vaccine," Agustinus said when contacted, Thursday, July 29.
Agustinus explained that there was indeed an implementation. COVID-19 vaccination at the DKI DPRD Building, but this vaccination only serves dose one and dose two to vaccine recipients using Sinovac.
However, Agustinus admitted that the room in the photo is one of the rooms in the DKI DPRD Building.
"In terms of building, yes, it is the DKI DPRD building. Confirmation, we believe it is the DKI DPRD building. But the statement stating that there is a third vaccine booster, I do not know," he said.
Because the vaccine booster narrative in the DPRD Building has gone viral on social media, Agustinus will report to the Chairman of the DKI DPRD Prasetyo Edi Marsudi to discuss this.
"I also have to report to the leadership. We will tell the leadership what it should be like to clarify this. Don't confuse it with being wrong, so it makes people anxious," he said.
It is known, the Ministry of Health has started to carry out the third dose of COVID-19 vaccination using the Moderna vaccine. However, this vaccination is only for health workers.
