2 Million BRI Life Customers Leaked To The Public, Bareskrim Polri: Under Investigation

JAKARTA - The National Police is investigating the alleged breach of BRI Life customer data. In this case, the data of 2 million customers was traded.

"The Dittipideksus is currently investigating," said the Chief of the Criminal Investigation Department, Komjen Agus Andrianto, in his statement, Wednesday, July 28.

However, Agus did not want to explain in detail about the case. He only mentioned that the alleged data leak case was related to banking problems.

"Regarding banking. BRI Life data. The data is supposed to come from there," said Komjen Agus.

For your information, data on 2 million BRI Life customers is sold on the RaidForums forum in the form of 460 thousand documents. The data was sold for 7,000 United States (US) Dollars, or around Rp. 101 million.
