LGBT Prostitution Of Fellow Men In Padang Revealed By Police, Caught Due To Pimp's Fight

PADANG - The Padang Police, West Sumatra, revealed a case of homosexual online prostitution (LGBT). Two men were arrested by the police.

The disclosure of the prostitution case between men, aka gay, started with a quarrel between two men. Both were detained by residents in the Simpang Haru area. The residents then handed it over to the Padang Police.

After investigation, it turns out that the quarrel between a same-sex couple with the initials AN (24) who became a pimp and AV (17) occurred because of jealousy. Both of these people were examined intensively by the police.

"It was revealed here that they were also involved in same-sex online prostitution (gay, ed), one of those arrested was also a pimp of the prostitution act," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Padang Police, Police Commissioner Rico Fernanda in a written statement, Wednesday, July 21 evening.

According to Rico, the two men who were detained could be categorized as criminal acts of same-sex obscene acts against minors and sexual exploitation of children.

"They are threatened with a maximum sentence of 12 years, the victim is a minor and is still a student," said Rico.
