Cast Out Of Rome, Son Of Dutch Legend Patrick Kluivert, Justin Lands In Nice
JAKARTA - Netherlands international winger Justin Kluivert (22) will play with French top flight club Nice this season.
Justin was sent to the Eredivisie on loan after AS Roma on Tuesday reached an agreement including an option to buy the player.
The son of former Netherlands international Patrick Kluivert has a contract with AS Roma until 2023, but information is circulating that Nice have an option to buy the player for 10 million euros.
After starting his career at Ajax, Justin stepped up to the Italian capital club for three seasons ago for a fee of around 18 million euros.
He featured around 50 Serie A games, despite spending most of last season on loan at Bundesliga side Leipzig. There, Justin scored three goals in 19 games.
Nice coach Christophe Galtier hopes Justin can develop alongside compatriot Calvin Stengs, the agile left winger who joined the Riviera side from Alkmaar earlier this month.
