Based At Dr. Slamet Hospital, The Regent Of Garut Observes The Performance Of Handling COVID Patients: Don't Let Anyone Complain

GARUT - Garut Regent Rudy Gunawan said he would have an office at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Dr. Slamet to find out obstacles to health services.

Rudy hopes that with this step there will be no more COVID-19 patients who experience difficulties and eventually die because they are not treated.

"I will have an office at the hospital, if there are things that prevent people from entering the hospital because they are not ready, with the reason why they don't confirm first, the emergency person must confirm first, of course I hope the hospital can improve itself," said Rudy Gunawan in Garut quoted from Antara, Monday, July 12.

The Garut Regency Government continues to make maximum efforts in dealing with the COVID-19 outbreak, including all residents exposed to COVID-19 in order to obtain optimal medical services.

He hopes that RSUD dr Slamet Garut as a referral hospital for COVID-19 patients can continue to improve services so that all patients can be served and helped until they finally get out of the critical period.

"I ask the hospital to take concrete steps to repair it, so that there are no emergency patients who die once again in the car in front of the hospital," he said.

He conveyed that officers at the Garut Regional Hospital could move quickly when there were new COVID-19 patients by carrying out initial medical treatment, such as using oxygen, installing infusions in an effort to be saved.

"Take steps to speed up entry to the hospital, whatever you do, use oxygen, wear masks, use infusions, medical steps have been taken which of course is our endeavor to save Garut residents," he said.

The Regent hopes that in the future there will be no more people who complain about health service problems at Dr Slamet Garut Hospital, especially for COVID-19 patients, such as having to wait a few days to get intensive care at the RSUD.

"I don't want any more complaints from the puskesmas, I have to wait three days, I have to wait four days," he said.

He expressed his appreciation to the 67 health centers in Garut who have been swift in taking steps to handle COVID-19 in the community in their working area.

"I also thank the ranks of puskesmas in 67 health centers who continue to carry out humanitarian steps by tracing, testing, reporting with antigens and of course carrying out self-isolation treatments," he said.
