This Is Doctor Lois Owien's Statement That Became The Reason For Her Arrest

JAKARTA - The police arrested doctor Lois Owien who was suspected of spreading false news or hoaxes about COVID-19. One of his statements that became controversial regarding the cause of death of the community was not due to COVID-19 but excessive drug administration.

"The post is that the victims who have died from COVID-19 are not due to COVID-19, but are caused by interactions between drugs and the administration of six drugs", said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division, Commissioner Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters on Monday, July 12.

The statement about the patient's death not due to COVID-19 was uploaded by doctor Lois Owien to various social media, namely Instagram and Twitter.
