JAKARTA – Nia Ramadhani has shown deep regret. The public figure, who is now a suspect in drug abuse, has publicly apologized to all parties, especially his family, for his actions in consuming methamphetamine.

"I hope that through my statement, I can open the door of my deepest apologies from all parties, especially once again my loved ones, my parents and the whole extended family," Nia said at the Kemayoran Central Jakarta Metro Police, Saturday, July 10. .

Central Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday (8/7) named three suspects in a drug abuse case involving husband and wife Nia Ramadhani and Ardiansyah Bakrie. In addition to the two, the police also named the driver with the initials ZN as a suspect.

Wearing a "bucket" hat that blocked her face, Nia read her a piece of paper containing her apology, while sobbing. Ardi Bakrie also tried to calm his wife, by stroking Nia's arm.

"Especially once again my beloved ones, my parents and the entire extended family, especially my children, Mikaila, Mainaka and Magika," said the mother of three, whose full name is Ramadhania Ardiansyah Bakrie (31).

In this press statement, the Central Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit presented the three suspects. Besides Nia and Ardi, the other suspect is the driver with the initials ZN (43).

The police have arrested the three suspects since Wednesday, July 7, with evidence of one clip of methamphetamine weighing 0.78 grams and 1 bong of methamphetamine suction.

The suspect was charged with violating Article 127 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with a maximum criminal sanction of four years in prison.
