These Are The New Rules For Riding The Commuter Line For You As Anker During The Emergency PPKM Period, Let's Listen
JAKARTA - For those of you who are security personnel, aka train children, you should know the latest information on riding the Commuter Line in connection with the current Emergency PPKM. According to Anne Purba, VP Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter, this new rule is effective on Monday, July 12, 2021.
"This new rule is based on the Circular of the Minister of Transportation. So we as a Commuter Line operator must inform all of our customers about this. We ask for your cooperation to comply with this rule," he said when contacted on Saturday, July 10, 2021.
The implementation of health protocols and regulations during the Emergency PPKM period continues to be carried out by KAI Commuter as the KRL operator. In accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Transportation No. 50 of 2021 starting July 12, 2021, all prospective KRL users must show a Worker Registration Certificate (STRP) or other Certificate issued by the local Government, or a Letter of Assignment signed by the head of the agency (minimum echelon 2 for the government) or the head of the company/office which includes essential and critical sectors.
KAI Commuter cooperates with the Regional Government and local regional officials to conduct inspections of all prospective KRL users. Those who cannot show the letter are prohibited from taking the KRL.
Meanwhile, as of 19.00 WIB, the Commuter Line users in all stations were 200,369 people or a 3% decrease compared to yesterday at the same time. KAI Commuter as a KRL operator continues to strive to provide the best service for its users. The operation of this KRL service is specifically for users who still have to do activities outside the home, especially for users who are active in critical and essential sectors according to government regulations.
KAI Commuter continues to carry out strict health protocols and government regulations during this Emergency PPKM period. We urge the public to stay at home for users who work in non-essential and non-critical sectors. Let's protect the health of family and friends to suppress the spread of COVID-19.
