Government Struggles To Deal With The Pandemic, Moeldoko: Don't Be A Political Flies To Disrupt The Handling Of COVID-19!

JAKARTA - Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko reminded all parties not to become political flies that interfere with efforts to deal with COVID-19. Because, the most important thing right now is to work together to save the community in the midst of a pandemic.

"I remind all parties not to become political flies that actually disturb concentration," said Moeldoko in his statement to reporters, Saturday, July 10.

He did not mention who the political fly he was referring to. However, this fly is considered to disturb the concentration of all parties who are currently working hard between life and death in the midst of a pandemic.

"He works between life and death (i.e., ed) the medical personnel, the ASN. Once again, don't be a disturbing political fly," he said.

"Today we are facing a human problem. For that I urge you to let go of our differences," added the former TNI Commander.

Moeldoko said that at this time all parties should unite to think about the big interests, namely humanity. Moreover, this is far more important than personal or group interests.

"Once again, only with togetherness the nation's problems become lighter and we can overcome them together," he said.

Furthermore, Moeldoko also emphasized that in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, no party should be pessimistic about the handling carried out by the government. According to him, pessimism will not be able to solve the problem because it makes you unable to think creatively and sucks energy in vain.

"For that, throw away pessimism. Instead, we must always be optimistic to be this nation," he said.

Moeldoko said the government is not anti-criticism, but the most important thing right now is collaboration and building solidity to deal with the pandemic.

"All of us (must, ed) unite to think about saving the community. Don't think about anything else," he concluded.
