Bogor COVID-19 Task Force Takes Action On 2 PT Simone And Sunbo Factories Because 100 Percent Of Employees Enter

CIBINONG - The Bogor Regency COVID-19 Task Force, West Java, took action against two factories found to have violated the emergency PPKM rules.

"These two factories have clearly violated the provisions of the Emergency PPKM, because 100 percent of employees came in. The factories should also have a task force and provide self-isolation rooms," said Burhanudin, Head of the Bogor Regency COVID-19 Handling Task Force, as quoted by Antara, Friday, July 9.

He mentioned that the two companies that still employ 100 percent of employees in the factory, namely PT Simone are located in Gunungputri, and PT Sunbo in Cileungsi. The leaders of the two companies will undergo a trial for minor crimes (tipiring) on Monday, July 12.

Burhan admitted that he was forced to take decisive steps, considering that the Gunungputri and Cileungsi areas were the contributors to the most COVID-19 cases, with 25-30 cases per day.

Meanwhile, Bogor Police Chief AKBP Harun said that law enforcement in the form of minor crimes was in accordance with West Java Provincial Regulation Number 5 of 2021. Companies that violate the Emergency PPKM are threatened with a maximum fine of IDR 50 million or a maximum imprisonment of three months.

"Later we will see in all regions, all those who do not follow the Emergency PPKM rules will be followed up. This is just an example, we will check again in several other places, “said AKBP Harun.

During the Emergency PPKM which takes effect on 3-20 July 2021, the non-essential sector is enforced to work from home or work form home (WFH) 100 percent, while the essential sector WFH is 50 percent.
