Strangeness Of Garuda's Policy Under Ari Askhara's Leadership

JAKARTA - After the disclosure of the Harley Davidson and Brompton bicycle smuggling case involving the President Director of PT Garuda Indonesia, I Gusti Ngurah Askhara Danadiputra or Ari Askhara, one by one the oddities related to the policies issued during his tenure emerged. IKAGI chairman Zaenal Muttaqin said the first policy that was considered quite strange was the falsification of PT Garuda Indonesia's financial statements in 2018. Although he did not remember the details of the overall nominal, the report that should have lost is said to have been changed as if it were profit.

According to Zaenal, the amendment to the financial report was carried out by Ari Askhara by transferring the nominal profit in the 2019 to 2018 work agreement. So, this method makes PT Garuda Indonesia seem to have benefited.

"What was faked in the 2018 financial report. The 2019 project should have been pulled back (entered into the 2018 financial report)," Zaenal told VOI, Friday, December 6.

Then, an indication of the game during Ari Askhara's leadership occurred when there was a transfer of shuttle facilities intended for employees. Previously, it was said that PT Garuda Indonesia was cooperating with a car procurement company.

However, suddenly PT Garuda Indonesia collaborated with another procurement company to replace the facility. In fact, it was handled by the police, even though it ended in confusion.

"I got news from Mandira or Aero Trans, because he was summoned by the police to confront the procurement of nearly 800 units," said Zaenal.

"I don't know the details, but the news I got was that it was not proven if this was a violation," he continued.

The odd thing about this, it is said, is that companies under the auspices of BUMN must involve three parties to hold a tender. However, this did not happen and in fact directly indicated one of the parties to be the winner of the tender.

"Even Honda was angry because it was not included in this tander or procurement," said Zaenal.

Finally, the peculiarity of the policy occurs on the equipment side or more to the work uniforms of the cabin crew. Because, Ari Askhara issued a decision to change the uniforms of all cabin crew, even though it had happened.

Thus, the policy was considered a wrong decision because it only caused waste of the budget. Given, the number of cabin crew is quite a lot.
