The Latest Condition Of The DKI Jakarta Health Office Pharmacy Warehouse On Fire

JAKARTA - A pharmacy warehouse belonging to the DKI Jakarta Health Service located in Cipinang Muara, East Jakarta, caught fire.

Head of East Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept. of Operations Gatot Sulaeman said his party received a fire report at around 19.17 WIB

"For the chronology, no one knows for sure. However, according to witnesses from the residents of the Cipinang Muara II Flat, the fire started suddenly and immediately spread evenly in three spaces that were separated by walls," said Gatot Sulaeman, quoted by Antara, Thursday, July 8.

Gatot said East Jakarta Gulkarmat deployed 12 fire engines with a total of 60 personnel to the empty warehouse.

According to him, the officers had difficulties to tame the fire that had spread because there were a lot of flammable materials.

The situation at 22.20 WIB was under control and officers were cooling down the pharmacy warehouse belonging to the DKI Jakarta Health Office.

There were no casualties in the fire accident. However, the material loss is estimated at Rp. 1 billion.
