Since Tuesday, July 6, Mrs. Kartika has been fitted with a breathing apparatus. "Mama @diana_msy is battling covid. PLEASE PRAY FOR STRONG MOM. Currently, mama is being helped by a ventilator," Karput wrote via Instagram.
Previously, Kartika Putri also asked for a convalescent plasma donor for her mother. "With humility, we need a convalescent plasma donor for my mother @kartikaputriworld Masayu Puspita Diana Putri Binti Masagus Machmoed Bahaoedin," he wrote on Instagram Stories.
Thursday, July 8, Kartika Putri held a virtual press conference with her husband, Habin Usman. He informed his mother about the current condition and thanked him for the plasma donor assistance he received for his mother.

The hospital is full, so Kartika Putri cannot communicate freely with her mother. Even though it's just a video call to encourage her mother, it's also hard to do.
"This has been planned for a zoom meeting but can't be with mom. The hospital is also able to handle so many patients. One doctor treats 7 patients. We don't want to be selfish," he explained with tears in his eyes.
Together with her husband and extended family, Kartika Putri continues to try and pray. "We've tried as hard and as possible as we can. I'm sure God will give our time for Mama to be with us again," he hoped.
Regarding the request for blood plasma donors, Kartika said that this is enough. "What we need is 4, so I thank my artist friends who made us able to meet our blood plasma needs. We got a lot of donors, thank you very much. They came from far away, thank you very much. Hopefully, after blood plasma therapy, Mama can get better," he said.
To all the people, Kartika Putri asked to stick to the health protocols. "Don't let conditions like ours happen to others," he hoped.
