A Thousand Italian Supporters Allowed To Watch The Euro 2020 Final Live, Will Be Given Special Health Protocols

JAKARTA - Italian football federation FIGC said around a thousand Italian fans would be allowed to fly to London to watch their national team live in the Euro 2020 final against England on Sunday, July 11.

The fans were allowed to fly after European football's governing body UEFA reached an agreement with the British government.

Current regulations in the UK require visitors from Italy to undergo strict isolation for 10 days.

However, around a thousand supporters who will fly from Italy are now given special health protocols namely entering the safe bubble after arriving using chartered planes and other special vehicles from the airport to Wembley Stadium to watch the final match against England.

They will only be allowed to be in England for 12 hours and after returning from London, the supporters will undergo a strict five-day quarantine in Italy.

The FIGC charges 610 euros per head for the fans specially flown in from Italy.

Meanwhile, at Wembley they will also be put in a special stand separate from the rest of the fans, Reuters reported.
