General Andika Perkasa Monitors Indonesian Army Hospital Handling COVID-19
JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI, Andika Perkasa, continues to monitor the development of the situation and readiness of Indonesian Army Hospitals throughout Indonesia in handling COVID-19.
"Monitoring the readiness of the each Army Central Hospital throughout Indonesia is our effort to reduce the current increasing number of COVID-19", said Army Chief of Staff General, Andika Perkasa, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, July 7.
General TNI Andika Perkasa held a video conference with the leadership of the Gatot Soebroto Army Central Hospital and Army Health throughout Indonesia to monitor preparations for handling COVID-19, which is currently increasing in cases.
General TNI Andika Perkasa ensured preparations, especially at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, Ridwan Meuraksa Hospital, and Daan Mogot Hospital where the number of COVID-19 patients was very high in Jakarta. Other needs for handling patients affected by COVID-19 are requested to keep the information updated every week.

This increase in the spread of COVID-19 is the second time after mid-2020 and also recorded the highest number of cases.
Routine monitoring carried out by the Army Chief of Staff is expected to reduce the rate of the spread of COVID-19, which is currently increasing, especially in the capital city of Jakarta.
