"Vaccine Raid", Lantamal VI Makassar Targets Island Residents
MAKASSAR - Makassar Main Navy Military Base VI (Lantamal VI) is targeting islanders to support the government's program to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic through the "Navy Maritime Community Vaccine Incursion" activity.
"In Makassar, we are targeting islanders in Makassar with simultaneous efforts to vaccinate COVID-19," said Commander of Makassar Lantamal VI (Danlantamal), First Admiral of the Indonesian Armed Forces, Dr. Benny Sukandari, on the sidelines of mass vaccination activities on Lae-Lae Island, Ujung Padang District, Makassar, Tuesday, July 6th.
As the implementing element, namely Lantamal VI Makassar, he said, carried out the "Indonesian Navy Maritime Community Vaccine Attack" with a target of 100 residents per day on Lae-Lae Island, Ujung Pandang District, Makassar City.
"Today, Lantamal VI together with other elements of the Navy ranks simultaneously carry out the 'Maritime Community Vaccine Attack' in accordance with the target of 1,000 vaccines per day can be achieved," he said.
With this vaccination activity, he hopes that all residents on Lae-Lae Island get vaccinated so that they can prevent the transmission of COVID-19.
