Congestion At Kalimalang Blocking Point Drops By 85 Messages: People Are Finally Aware

JAKARTA - The police said that the congestion that occurred at the barrier points on the border had decreased. In fact, for the blocking point in the Kalimalang area, it fell by 85 percent when compared to the implementation of the third day of Emergency PPKM.

"Alhamdulillah, at the Lampiri border point (Kalimalang) it has decreased by about 85 percent, there are no traffic jams," said Irwasda Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Herukoco to reporters, Tuesday, July 6.

Referring to data as of July 5, the traffic jam in Kalimalang is estimated to reach 1.5 kilometers. But, for today, it's pretty quiet.

The absence of traffic jams, continued Herukoco, is an indicator that the community has understood the rules of the Emergency PPKM policy.

"It means that people from yesterday's lesson today are aware and companies have started to close," he said.

In fact, to ensure that the Emergency PPKM rules are properly implemented, the Gakkum Task Force will track down all essential and non-essential companies.

The goal is to see that essential companies apply 50 percent worker capacity and non-essential companies cannot operate.

"As for today, our activities from the Gakkum Task Force have begun to search for non-essential and critical companies that are still open. We will enforce the law," he said.
