Grief And Haru Didi Mahardika Left Beloved Mother Rachmawati Soekarnoputri
JAKARTA - The body of the late Dr. (HC) Hj. Rachmawati Soekarnoputri, SH, MH has been buried right next to the tomb of her beloved mother Fatmawati Soekarno. Didi Mahardika, as the biological son of the late, seemed determined to take his mother to the funeral accompanied by relatives and friends.
The funeral which took place at the Karet Bivak TPU, Central Jakarta, on Saturday 3 July was carried out according to the COVID-19 protocol. The problem is that the deceased was indeed reported to have been exposed to the corona virus before he breathed his last at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital.
Saturday afternoon, the atmosphere of TPU Karet Bivou was bright. Preparations to welcome the arrival of the body of the late Rachmawati Soekarnoputri had been seen several hours before the funeral process was carried out.
Because the deceased had COVID-19 and also the atmosphere in Jakarta was implementing Emergency PPKM, not many were able to attend this funeral. Only nuclear families are allowed to deliver the bodies buried in Block AA 1 Blad 7 TPU Karet Bivouac No. 19 Central Jakarta.
Several officers in charge of carrying the coffin wore white PPE. Meanwhile, the nuclear family such as Didi Mahardika, Anjasmara and Nanda Persada as friends and family who mostly wore black clothes were near the grave.
Didi as a biological son is very saddened by the loss of his mother. According to him, there is still a lot of homework that still needs to be done, but what can I say the mother is gone forever. "There is still a lot that needs to be done, but mother has already been sick and now she is gone forever. We must continue her struggle. Please pray for me, friends," Didi told reporters after the funeral without specifying what the homework meant.
Regarding the selection of the TPU Karet Bivou, according to Didi, it was the wish of the amarhumah Rachmawati Soekarnoputri. "Before he got sick, it was already ordered that one day he would not ask to be buried in this TPU Karet Bivou," he said.
