Bandung Regency Government Shifts Employee Spending Rp. 80 Billion For Emergency PPKM

BANDUNG - The Bandung Regency Government, West Java, shifted the personnel expenditure budget of Rp. 80 billion for the handling of COVID-19 during the implementation of the emergency community activity restrictions (PPKM) in Java-Bali on July 3-20.

"It doesn't mean that Rp80 billion has been spent, but there is a priority scale consideration, which one should come first," said Bandung Regent Dadang Supriatna, quoted by Antara, Friday, July 2.

Currently, Bandung Regency is in the red zone for the spread of COVID-19.

During the implementation of the emergency PPKM, Dadang asked for synergy from all parties to comply with applicable rules, for the safety of the community.

Dadang explained several emergency PPKM rules, including the application of working from home.

Meanwhile, according to him, companies that are allowed to continue working must implement strict health protocols.

"Those who usually wear one mask are doubled into two. Changing clothes is also very influential, don't forget to provide hand sanitizer and periodic disinfectant spraying in the room," said Dadang.

Previously, West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil stated that all districts and cities in the West Java region would implement emergency PPKM on July 3-20 2021.

"I, the Deputy Governor and West Java Forkopimda convey a request to all the people of West Java because 27 districts and cities will experience an uncomfortable and unpleasant situation," said Ridwan.
