TNI Ready To Add Health Workers To Help With COVID-19 Vaccination

JAKARTA - The Indonesian National Army (TNI) is ready to add health workers to assist the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination in suppressing the spread of COVID-19 in the country.

TNI Commander Marshal, Hadi Tjahjanto, said this when he visited the Cipayung Subdistrict vaccination center at the Minhaajurroosidiin Islamic School (STAIMI) Lubang Buaya, East Jakarta, Friday, July 2.

The TNI Commander, who was accompanied by Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, had a dialogue with the Head of the Cipayung Health Center, Drg. Rini Muharini asked what were the obstacles faced during the implementation of the vaccination program in her area.

"We are short of health workers, sir. If the TNI Commander is willing to add health workers, we will add vaccination centers in the Cipayung area so that the target is immediately achieved", replied Rini Muharini, quoted by Antara.

Marshal TNI Hadi also admitted that he was ready to help facilitate, including adding health workers so that the target of the people who were vaccinated would be met immediately.

"TNI is ready to add health workers to help carry out vaccinations in the Jabodetabek area", he said in a press release.

TNI Commander Marshal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto greeted one of the TNI health workers on duty, then asked how many people could be vaccinated in a day.

"Ready, able to vaccinate more than 400 residents in a day", said the TNI health worker.

Marshal Hadi also gave his appreciation to the health workers and at the same time advised them to maintain health and apply the discipline of health protocols. Hadi also advised the public who will carry out the vaccine to continue to carry out the discipline of health protocols.
