University of Indonesia Student Executive Board Criticized, KPK Deputy Chairman Ghufron: We Expect More
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Nurul Ghufron, said his institution is open to criticism and input from every element of society.
"KPK is open to criticism and suggestions from every element of society", said Ghufron in a statement in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Thursday, July 1.
He said this was in response to criticism and input from students to the KPK.
He realized that criticism was part of the public's attention and commitment to corruption eradication efforts mandated by the KPK.

According to him, students as part of academia are expected to provide ideas and ideas to eradicate corruption more comprehensively.
"We actually hope for more. Fellow students as part of academics can provide ideas, suggestions, and ideas to eradicate corruption more comprehensively and scientifically", said Ghufron.
Thus, he said, students can actualize their knowledge and knowledge to make a more real contribution to the improvement of the nation.
"Here, the KPK at the same time invites academics to convey their scientific ideas through the INTEGRITAS Journal", he said.
He explained that the INTEGRITAS Journal is a collection of scientific thoughts and research to share and learn about the issue of eradicating corruption.

Previously, the University of Indonesia Student Executive Board (BEM UI) via uploads on the Twitter account @BEMUI_Official expressed criticism of KPK Chairman, Firli Bahuri.
Some of the things that BEM UI highlighted against Firli include ethical sanctions for living a luxurious lifestyle by using a helicopter and disabling 51 KPK employees.
