DEPOK - The Mayor of Depok issued a regulation that restaurants, cafes, food stalls or street vendors and the like are only allowed to carry out activities until 21.00 WIB and take them home. Mayor prohibits eating and drinking in places related to soaring COVID-19 cases
"The policy is valid for one week, starting from June 29 to July 5, 2021," said Depok City COVID-19 Task Force spokesman Dadang Wihana, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, June 29.
Based on the Mayor's Decree (SK) Number 443/263/Kpts/Dinkes/Huk/2021 dated 28 June 2021 concerning the Extension of the Eight Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) Proportionally Pre-Adaptation of New Habits (IMR) for Prevention, Handling, and Control Corona through the implementation of the eighth Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM).
Dadang said the decree also regulates workplaces or offices applying Work From Home (WFH) at 75 percent and Work From Office (WFO) at 25 percent, by imposing health protocols more strictly.
"Alternating work time arrangements, and when WFH does not move to other areas," he said.
For essential sectors such as health, foodstuffs, food, beverages, energy, communications, information technology, finance, banking, payment systems, capital markets, logistics, hospitality, construction, strategic industries, basic services.
Then public utilities, and industries that are designated as national vital objects and certain objects, daily needs related to the basic needs of the community continue to operate 100 percent.
"But we must pay attention to the regulation of operating hours, capacity restrictions, and stricter application of health protocols," he said.
