Being The Front Guard, The Police Requires Bhabinkamtibmas To Have A COVID-19 Cluster Contingency Book

JAKARTA - The National Police Chief General of Police Listyo Sigit Prabowo gave directions to officers, especially Bhabinkamtibmas who served at the Micro PPKM Command Post, to have a COVID-19 cluster contingency guidebook as an effort to handle the spread of the corona virus.

This was stated by the Head of the Public Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police Inspector General Pol Argo Yuwono. According to him, the manual has been printed and has been distributed to the ranks of the regional police, police stations, and police stations throughout Indonesia.

"As the front line in handling COVID-19, the National Police Chief ordered that the book should always be in the pocket of the Bhabinkamtibmas," Argo said in a written statement quoted on Sunday, June 27.

The two-star general revealed that this book is a form of contribution and struggle of the National Police in supporting the government to prevent the spread of an increasingly widespread pandemic.

"This is solely done to uphold the spirit of Salus Populi Suprema Lex Esto that public safety is the highest law," he said.

Meanwhile, the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo together with the TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto recently visited the Nagrak Flats and the West Semper Micro PPKM Command Post, North Jakarta, today, Sunday, June 27.

During the visit, one of the officers, Ipda Luluk S, who is a member of Bhabinkamtibmas Cilincing, explained that the COVID-19 Cluster Contingency Book was useful for members because it explained in detail how to handle the pandemic.

An example is the determination of the post and its controller when a contingency occurs. Then, the preparation of facilities and infrastructure such as ambulances, antigen swab equipment, PPE, medicines, formular tracing, quarantine/isolation monitoring forms, communication media, information, and COVID-19 education.

Then, the guidebook also discusses the handling of the COVID-19 cluster with the 3T (tracing, testing and treatment) and 5M (wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds and limiting mobility).
