Justice League Version Zack Snyder Cut Released 2021

JAKARTA - Warner Bros. has confirmed that Zack Snyder's version of Justice League will be released on the HBO Max streaming platform next year.

Speculation peaked earlier this Wednesday, after a billboard promoting the new streaming platform gave fans reason to believe a Snyder Cut release was imminent.

Streaming service HBO Max uses a promotional image from the DC movie, with the caption, "We have the heroes."

Now, Warner Bros. is reported to have budgeted 20 to 30 million United States (US) to complete and release the original version of the film Snyder. This film has a potential duration of four hours or will be divided into six episodes.

Snyder made a statement at the end of the online screening of the film Man of Steel (2013), confirming that a Justice League version is indeed due for release and is expected to debut in 2021.

Last night, the director revealed the release plans on Twitter with the caption: "This is real" and a picture emblazoned with the words 'Zack Snyder's Justice League'.

"This is going to be a whole new thing, and, especially speaking to those who have seen the film being released, a new experience apart from the film," Snyder told The Hollywood Reporter.

"You probably see a quarter of what I do," added Snyder, despite claiming that he still hasn't seen Joss Whedon's version.

In other DC news, Batman and Robin writer Akiva Goldsman said last week that an early version of the Batman vs Superman script should have shown how the Joker killed Batman's wife.

However, that version of the film was never released because it was not what Goldsman imagined when he wrote it. He went on to call it "the darkest thing you have ever seen."
