Soaring, Now There Are 154 House of Representatives Members And Staff Exposed To COVID-19

JAKARTA - The Secretariat General of the House of Representatives reported developing COVID-19 cases in their complex and the houses of members' positions. It was recorded that there were 154 council members, civil servants, and supporting staff who were exposed to COVID-19.

"I convey to all media friends that we have 154 registered people", said the Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, Indra Iskandar, to reporters, Friday, June 25.

He explained, 19 members of the House of Representatives, 10 people are already in the healing process. Even this morning, the member was in very good condition.

Meanwhile, Indra continued, of the 36 positive civil servants, 2 have recovered. Of the 44 PPNPM (Government Employees Non Civil Servants) consisting of internal security and TVR Parliament, 8 people have recovered.

"From Experts 23 people, and the cleaning staff is still 32 people who are positive," he said.

However, this number, continued Indra, does not include members of the House of Representatives, Civil servants, or experts who check themselves in laboratories outside of the facilities. Because the Secretariat General only combs the results in the laboratory facilitated by the House of Representatives.

"Yes, as of today there are 154 data this morning. I must say that this data also does not include ASN or members who use outside labs. This is the lab that we trace using the lab we facilitate," he explained.

Indra added that from all the data entered into the Secretariat General of the House of Representatives, most of their activities were actually not in the People's Consultative Assembly/House of Representatives building for some time. Because many employees work from home (WFH).

"So I make sure that the cluster or epicenter is not only in the Senayan environment but beyond all that, in our monitoring", said Indra.
