Property Developer Owned By Conglomerate Eka Tjipta Widjaja Targets Revenue Of IDR 2.05 Trillion In 2021
JAKARTA - A subsidiary of PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSD), PT Duta Pertiwi Tbk (DUTI) is optimistic that it will achieve the target of operating income of IDR 2.05 trillion in 2021. This optimism is driven by the improvement in the property sector which has an impact on the growth of the performance of issuers coded DUTI That's in the first quarter of 2021.
"We are targeting that in 2021 we can achieve operating income of Rp2.05 trillion or a 19% growth compared to the previous year's realization," said the President Director of DUTI, in a written statement, Thursday, June 24.
In the first quarter of 2021, the company owned by conglomerate Eka Tjipta Widjaja managed to record operating revenues of Rp. 351.95 billion and net profit of Rp. 228.29 billion, a significant growth of 73.81 percent compared to net profit in the same period last year.
"We are optimistic that the property business will recover in 2021 despite challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic issue. The government's efforts in handling the pandemic in the provision and implementation of vaccines should also be appreciated. This will encourage people's sense of security to slowly return to their normal activities," explained Teky Mailoa.
Currently, this developer from the Sinar Mas Group still owns around 1,280 hectares of undeveloped land spread over several big cities including Greater Jakarta and Surabaya.
Since last year, DUTI has focused on developing several main projects such as the Aerium Apartment, the mixed used Southgate Apartment which includes apartment projects, office buildings and retail shopping centers.
At the end of 2020, the Company managed to record a positive Operating Revenue even under the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic, amounting to Rp1.72 trillion.
