JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, reported the latest developments on the Implementation of Micro-Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) to President Joko Widodo.

In his report, Coordinating Minister Airlangga said that hospital facilities in 87 regencies/cities in 29 provinces had more than 70 percent capacity.

"Therefore, the direction of the President is to maintain the condition of the community. In addition, the President also asked the TNI/Police to help secure the situation in Riau, Riau Islands, and Kudus (Central Java)", he said while giving a virtual press statement at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Monday, June 21.

Airlangga added that the government then implemented several adjustments. First, the activities of restaurants, stalls, restaurants, and cafes, both independent and in markets or shopping centers/malls, may only have a capacity of 25 percent with operating hours until 20:00.

"More than that must be brought home", he said.

Second, for activities in shopping centers, trade centers, malls, or markets, operating hours are only until 20:00 with a maximum capacity of 25 percent.

Three, Construction activities and construction projects continue to operate by implementing strict health protocols.

Fourth, eliminating activities in places of worship that enter the red zone by the Circular Letter of the Minister of Religion until conditions are considered safe and conducive.

Five, public areas, public facilities, and tourist attractions, and cultural and social art activities are closed to the red zone.

"For celebrations, the maximum capacity is 25 percent by implementing strict procedures and not eating on the spot or having to take it home", he added.

Next, meetings and seminars are conducted online. Meanwhile, for zones outside the red category a maximum of 25 percent concerning local government regulations related to Micro PPKM.

"Then public transportation is also carried out by local government regulations and must implement strict procedures", Airlangga concluded.
