"On Sunday, where there is usually a trial of the Casablanca Non-Toll Flyover for bicycles, it will be cancelled on Sunday," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo to reporters, Friday, June 18.
With the temporary abolition, the Non-Toll Flyover will again function only for four-wheeled vehicles.
In addition, in the tightening of restrictions on community activities (PPKM) micro-scale cyclists are not allowed to relax on the side of the road or park. Even if it's just to rest.
"But when they exercise, they huddle together and so after sports, so that's what we will arrange later," he asserted.
However, the existence of this policy does not mean that cycling is prohibited. But just avoid the potential crowd.
"Starting from Saturday and Sunday, we will regulate and limit sports that risk causing crowds. So it's not a sport," said Sambodo.
