Police Arrest 3 More Cremators In Maros

MAKASSAR - The South Sulawesi (Sulsel) Regional Police arrested three more perpetrators of the arsonist Muh Rian Latif (21). This arrest was the result of the development of two people who were previously arrested by the police, bringing the total perpetrators to five people.

"All the perpetrators involved have been arrested. The South Sulawesi Police Resmob team initially arrested two suspected perpetrators on Tuesday, June 15 at a location in Makassar. It was further developed, and three more people were arrested, one of whom was taken into custody while he was in the area.

"In Makassar there are two people, and today there are three people who were arrested, one of them was secured in Bulukumba Regency. So in total there are five perpetrators," said Kombes Zulpan.

Regarding the status of the five perpetrators, whether they have been designated as suspects, he said, it has been confirmed because they have been involved in the sadistic planned murder.

"The status of all of these people are suspects because they are all involved. Evidence and other information will be submitted by the Regional Police Chief immediately upon release tomorrow, including the motive," said Zulpan.

Previously, a burned body was found by a truck driver named Dudi, after passing through Bukit Kemiri, Tompoladang, Padaelo Village, Mallawa District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi on Friday, June 11 in the morning.

The crime scene was then processed by the Forensic Laboratory of the South Sulawesi Regional Police Biddokes and took DNA samples from the victims, as well as distributing the victim's sketches. Later his identity was revealed to be 21-year-old Muh Rian Latif from Gowa Regency.

This case was then handled by the Resmob Team of the South Sulawesi Police by collecting information and witnesses assisted by the Maros Police, until finally they managed to arrest the two perpetrators. After being developed into five actors.
