The incident began when the victim and her grandfather went to a neighbor's house named Rica Yuliana. This witness had known the victim and her child were playing in the sand. At around 07.20 WIB, Rica heard the victim's sister looking for the victim.

"Knowing this, witness Rica helped to find him, but the victim was known to have floated on the south side of the fish pond and then screamed for help", said Iptu Nenny.

Hearing the sound of people screaming for help, Ahmad Baedowi (34) or the victim's father immediately ran to the scene and then took the victim out of the pool. After being removed from the pool, the victim was in a weak condition and died.

Local residents who knew about the incident also went to the victim who then reported the incident to the Kalidawir Police.

"From the results of the examination on the victim's body, no signs of abuse were found, and the family has made a statement that they are not willing to do an autopsy on the victim. The family can accept that the death of the victim is a disaster", said Iptu Nenny.

Meanwhile, Kalidawir Police Chief AKP Santoso appealed to residents to pay more attention to their children. In addition, for pool owners to always pay attention to the safety of the pool.

Especially if there are many small children playing around the pool to be reminded to stay away from the pool.

"For parents who have toddlers to be more careful in supervising their children", said AKP Santoso.
