Enesis Group Holds ASEAN Dengue Day 2026, Strengthening Education on Dengue Prevention from an Early Age
Enesis Group through the Soffell mosquito repellent lotion brand has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting public health education by organizing a series of ASEAN Dengue Day 2026 activities. Under the theme "Indonesia Pionir Gerakan Bebas Dengue di ASEAN", this activity is part of the company's ongoing efforts to build a dengue prevention culture from an early age.
As part of the series of events, Enesis Group held an educational roadshow at SDN 03 & 05 Tanah Tinggi, SDN 20 Utan Kayu Selatan, and SDN 02 Mampang Prapatan, Jakarta. Through this interactive activity, students are invited to understand the importance of implementing the 3M+ Movement, namely Draining, Closing, Recycling, and getting used to protecting themselves from mosquito bites using Soffell mosquito repellent lotion as a preventive measure.
The series of activities was then closed through the ASEAN Dengue Day 2026 summit event held at the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia. In the implementation of these activities, Enesis Group collaborated with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, the DKI Jakarta Health Service, and the DKI Jakarta Education Service as strategic partners in expanding the reach of education to the community. This collaboration is part of a joint commitment to strengthen efforts to support the Indonesia Zero Dengue Death 2030 target.
One of the series that attracted attention at the summit was a demonstration of a powerful protection test from mosquito bites using Soffell mosquito repellent lotion. This activity involved the public figure Ririn Ekawati with her daughter, Abigail Cattleya Putri.
In the demonstration, Ririn Ekawati and Abigail put their hands into a box containing mosquitoes after previously using Soffell mosquito repellent lotion. The result, there were no mosquitoes biting the two during the demonstration. This moment is one form of education that shows the importance of protecting yourself from mosquito bites as part of efforts to prevent dengue.
In addition to providing education to students, the peak event was also enlivened with a talk show session with public figures Ririn Ekawati and her daughter. Through this session, the two shared experiences about the importance of building healthy living habits and the role of the family in instilling awareness of dengue prevention from an early age.
Through the implementation of ASEAN Dengue Day 2026, the Enesis Group not only presents education to the public, but also strengthens synergy with the government and various stakeholders in encouraging promotional and preventive efforts against dengue. This support is reflected in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia who conveyed the importance of cross-sectoral collaboration in building a culture of prevention from an early age.
In his remarks, the Directorate of Communicable Diseases, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, represented by Dr. Agus Handito, said that dengue is still one of the public health challenges in Indonesia.
"The success of dengue control cannot be achieved by the health sector alone. It requires the active involvement of local governments, the education sector, the public communication sector, professional organizations, academics, civil society, and all development partners. A collaborative approach based on evidence must be the foundation in every implementation of programs towards the target of Indonesia Zero Death Due to Dengue in 2030," said Dr. Agus Handito, quoted Tuesday, August 4.
The collaboration that was established in ASEAN Dengue Day 2026 is part of Enesis Group's long-term commitment to supporting the creation of a healthier community through sustainable education.
"We hope that the 3M+ Movement will not only be a jargon, but a habit that is applied in schools, at home, and in the community. As an Indonesian company that is also present in a number of ASEAN countries, we hope that the spirit of the Free Dengue Movement which started in Indonesia can inspire the birth of similar initiatives in other ASEAN countries," said RM Ardiantara as Head of Human Resources, Services and Public Relations Enesis Group.
Through the implementation of ASEAN Dengue Day 2026, Enesis Group hopes that the culture of the 3M+ Movement can be further implemented by the community from an early age. As an Indonesian company that presents various health and personal care products, Enesis Group will continue to present educational programs and cross-sector collaboration as part of its contribution to building a healthier community while supporting the creation of Indonesia as a pioneer of the Dengue-Free Movement in ASEAN.
