L8 Officially Delivered to the First Consumer at GIIAS 2026

JAKARTA - PT Lepas Indonesia held a ceremony to hand over the first Lepas L8 plug-in hybrid SUV to consumers at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026. Carrying the theme The First Step to a New Journey, this event marked the beginning of the journey of the first owners or Founding Owners with the brand in Indonesia.

For Lepas, this is the beginning of a long-term relationship with customers. The Chinese manufacturer also wants to provide a premium ownership experience that continues after the vehicle is received and used in various daily activities.

After seeing a vehicle as part of a lifestyle as well as a reflection of the owner's character. This philosophy is applied in the development of each product by combining design, technology, and driving experience that complement each other.

"Today is a very special moment for us because for the first time Lepas L8 officially became part of the lives of our customers. After L8, it comes as a Premium Plug-in Hybrid SUV that carries the Leopard Aesthetics design philosophy. This car is built on the LEX Intelligent New Energy Platform which offers the concept of Four More, namely More Stable, More Spacious, More Quiet, and More Efficient. The platform is designed to deliver better performance while providing comfort, a quieter cabin, and an intuitive driving experience.

As a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), the Lepas L8 is claimed to be able to travel more than 100 kilometers in pure electric mode. Meanwhile, the combined cruising range of this vehicle reaches more than 1,300 kilometers, thus supporting daily mobility and long-distance travel with efficiency that is still maintained.

Comfort support features are also one of its attractions, ranging from Automated Parking Assist (APA), Remote Parking Assist (RPA), Active Fragrance System, 256-color ambient lighting, to a cabin designed to be quieter to provide a more relaxed driving experience.

Not only offering products, Lepas also presents after-sales services through the Lepas CARE ecosystem. This program is designed to provide a sense of security during the vehicle ownership period. Lepas L8 is marketed at a price of IDR 589 million on the road (OTR) Jakarta.

Consumers will get a vehicle warranty for six years or 150,000 kilometers, battery, electric motor, and controller warranty for eight years or 160,000 kilometers, and engine warranty for up to 10 years or 1 million kilometers for the first owner. In addition, there is also a free service for four years or 60,000 kilometers, Pickup & Delivery Service for two years in certain areas, and Roadside Assistance for three years according to the applicable terms and conditions.
