Komdigi Issues Warning Letter to 22 PSEs Who Have Not Registered, Deadline July 13

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Digital has sent a letter of compliance with registration obligations to 22 Private Scope Electronic System Operators (PSE) who, as of July 3, 2026, have not fulfilled the obligation to register themselves in accordance with applicable regulations.

Director General of Digital Space Supervision at Kemkomdigi, Alexander Sabar, again emphasized that through this letter, Komdigi provides PSE with the opportunity to immediately fulfill the registration obligation before taking enforcement action in accordance with applicable regulations.

"Registration of the Private Scope PSE is the obligation of every electronic system operator that provides services or operates in Indonesia," Alex said in an official statement quoted on Thursday, July 9.

Of the 25 PSEs who received a notification letter of registration obligation, 3 PSEs in the Private Scope have communicated with Komdigi and submitted commitments and/or carried out the registration process, namely:

For the other 22 PSEs, Komdigi has sent a warning letter as a follow-up to the implementation of guidance and supervision of compliance.

"We ask all PSE private scope to immediately register so that the public can obtain legal certainty for the provision of digital services used," said Alex.

Alex emphasized that if by the deadline specified, namely July 13, 2026, the PSE still has not fulfilled the registration obligation, Komdigi will take steps in accordance with applicable regulations, including termination of access to the electronic system.
