Indonesia Vs UAE Schedule, Friday 23.45 WIB: Although They Are Still The Minnows, Garuda Squad Will Go All Out

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team will go all out in their last match in Group G of the Asian zone 2022 World Cup Qualifiers against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Dubai, Friday, June 11 night.

Assistant coach of the Indonesian national team Choi In-cheol said that his foster children were ready to give their all in the field.

"Even though we can't qualify for the next round, we will still work hard. These young players will maximize their performance," said Choi, quoted by Antara from PSSI's statement, Thursday yesterday.

Shin Tae-yong's assistant assessed that the United Arab Emirates is not a team that cannot be defeated and Indonesia must be able to take advantage of every opportunity to find the opponent's weakness.

"The UAE's attack quality is indeed very good. However, we have analyzed their weaknesses. We have also trained well, especially strengthening the team organization," said Choi.

Garuda squad midfielder Syahrian Abimanyu also emphasized that he and his colleagues will try to complete their ultimate challenge in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers well.

"At the very least, it will be a good experience for all the players," said the 22-year-old.

The Indonesian national team will play their last match in Group G of the 2022 World Cup Qualification in the Asian zone against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the Zabeel Stadium, starting at 11.45 WIB tonight.

Whatever the result of the match will not affect the position of the Garuda squad in the Group G standings. Evan Dimas and his friends remain the caretakers because in the previous seven matches they lost six times and drew once.

Previously in the Group G match in Dubai, Indonesia drew 2-2 with Thailand and lost 0-4 to Vietnam.

For information, the UAE is the most fertile team in Group G with 15 goals from six matches. In the standings, the UAE sits in second place with a collection of 12 points.

Meanwhile, Indonesia is the team with the worst defense in Group G. They have conceded 22 goals from seven matches.

Indonesia's effort to beat the UAE is getting harder because head coach Shin Tae-yong is certain to be unable to accompany the team on the sidelines or the dressing room due to an accumulation of yellow cards.
