Waskita Beton Completes the Supply of People's School Products in Aceh, South Sumatra and East Java
PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk or WSBP has completed 100 percent of the delivery of precast concrete products of the Square Pile type for a number of People's Schools (SR) projects in Aceh, South Sumatra and East Java.
The completion of the foundation supply is part of the company's support for the SR program initiated by the government to expand access to education for the community.
All the needs of Square Piles which are the scope of work of WSBP have been sent according to schedule to the respective project locations.
The product is used as the main foundation of the school building to ensure the strength and durability of the structure in the long term.
Head of the Corporate Secretary Division of WSBP Fandy Dewanto said the company contributed to the development of SR in various regions by providing precast concrete which is an important element in the construction phase.
"WSBP also supplies precast concrete products for a number of People's School projects in various regions of Sumatra and Java," said Fandy as quoted from a written statement, Friday, June 19.
"All the needs of Square Piles which are the scope of WSBP work on these projects have also been completed according to the schedule set. We hope that this contribution can provide sustainable benefits for the world of education," he added.
In detail, WSBP supplied 12,258 Square Piles for the SR project in South Sumatra.
Meanwhile, the SR Aceh 2 project received 2,000 rods, East Java 1 as many as 1,560 rods and East Java 2 as many as 3,248 rods.
Thus, the total supply that has been sent has reached 19,066 Square Pile.
Square Pile is a precast concrete product in the form of a square pile that serves as a building foundation.
The product is designed to provide optimal support for various types of construction, ranging from educational facilities, hospitals, residential areas to other infrastructure projects.
According to Fandy, the existence of a strong foundation is an important aspect in the development of educational facilities because it is directly related to the safety and comfort of building users.
Fandy added that SR is a very important program in expanding access to education for the community.
