Before Determining the Suspect, the Tangerang City Prosecutor's Office will Coordinate with the BPK
JAKARTA - The Tangerang City District Attorney's Office will coordinate with the Financial Supervisory Board (BPK) to obtain the exact value of state losses in the 2022 PT Angkasa Pura Kargo (APK) corruption case.
Head of the Special Criminal Section (Kasi) of the Tangerang City Prosecutor's Office, Hasbullah, said that the coordination was carried out to find out the exact value of the state's losses before the determination of the suspect. "We are coordinating with the auditor to calculate the state's losses," he told VOI, Saturday, June 13.
Hasbullah emphasized that investigators had found criminal events in the alleged corruption case that occurred at the sub-holding company PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia or InJourney.
The crime in question is an unimplemented or fictitious work. "The budget is Rp. 10 billion, only half of it has been paid, Rp. 5 billion. The results of the interim examination, the plane does not exist (rented - ed)," he said.
The Head of Intelligence of the Tangerang City District Attorney's Office, Anak Agung Suarja Teja Buana, said that the alleged corruption case that occurred at PT APK, which has now changed to PT IAS, was being investigated since May 21, 2026.
This is based on the letter of order from the Head of the Tangerang City District Prosecutor's Office, Pradana Probo Setyarjo, with the number: PRIN-410/M.6.11/Fd.2/05/2026.
He explained that the case began in 2021. At that time, PT APK established a new business line, namely aircraft charter. The business line was then included in the Draft Work and Budget of the Company (RKAP) of PT APK for the 2022 fiscal year.
To carry out these activities, PT APK in February 2022 appointed PT WSU as a business partner in operating the Boeing 737-300 type aircraft. "However, based on the results of the investigation, PT WSU is known not to be a business entity that has certification to operate the Boeing 737-300 type aircraft," he said.
