Experience a Heart Attack, Assistant Reveals the Chronology of Haji Bolot Being Taken to the Hospital

JAKARTA - The shocking news came from senior comedian Haji Bolot who is reportedly undergoing intensive treatment at the hospital. Wahyu Ramadhan, the assistant, confirmed that the Betawi artist was rushed to the hospital after complaining of sudden shortness of breath.

"Yes, it was sudden, because Baba never had any disease like this. So he was suffocated, he called, 'Come on, let's go to the hospital.' It was like that," said Wahyu Ramadhan when he was met at Fatmawati Hospital, South Jakarta, Thursday, June 11.

The incident began at Haji Bolot's residence in the Jombang area. Wahyu said that at first they took the comedian to a hospital in the Bintaro area before being referred.

"Initially it was in Bintaro, it was just because maybe the equipment was lacking, so it was referred here (Fatmawati Hospital). We took it to the hospital on the 28th (May). Here it means it's been two weeks, 12 days," explained Wahyu.

The family and management team initially thought the complaint was a common respiratory problem. However, the results of the doctor's examination showed serious disturbances in the heart organ.

"It was said that at first he said 'I want a chest X-ray'. It was just because in the emergency room at that time he was examined by a doctor, 'Wow, this can't be if it's just a chest X-ray, it has to be examined all', yes that's what it ended up being a chest X-ray, it was found in the heart recording," he continued.

Based on the diagnosis of the medical team, the 84-year-old man was found to have suffered a heart attack. This is quite surprising because Haji Bolot is known to have no history of serious illness before.

"Heart, heart attack. Not yet (there is a history). So it's because this baba is an old smoker. So maybe because of that factor," said Wahyu.

Fortunately, although he had to undergo treatment in a special heart room, Haji Bolot's condition is currently reported to have stabilized and passed through worrying times.

"Alhamdulillah, the condition for now is stable, it is in the recovery period. Yes, ask for prayers so that baba gets healthy quickly, quickly out of the hospital," he said hopefully.

Currently, Haji Bolot is still under the close supervision of the Fatmawati Hospital medical team.

"Not yet, there is no (return schedule). It's still a treatment period," concluded Wahyu closing the conversation.
