Don't Worry, You Don't Have To Be Afraid To Run Out, BTS Meal Is Not Just A Day, But A Month

JAKARTA - McDonald's Indonesia enforces opening and closing orders as a result of the high interest of BTS fans to buy BTS Meal and causing orders through online applications and delivery messages to boom.

"We are very grateful for the great enthusiasm of the community for the BTS Meal. Regarding the temporary closure of several McDonald's outlets, the safety and security of consumers and customers is McDonald's Indonesia's priority. The closure is temporary, in order to avoid crowds of drive thru queues and delivery purchases. We apologize for the inconvenience," said McDonald's Indonesia Associate Director of Communication Sutji Lantyka, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, June 9.

He said the open and close system was implemented so that no accumulation or crowding would occur again, which is an activity that is contrary to the implementation of health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sutji also conveyed a message to all ARMY who are interested in buying the BTS Meal so they don't have to worry because the BTS Meal will be available within the next one month.

"We also want to inform you again that BTS Meal is not only available today, but for the next month, so that all customers don't have to rush and worry about running out of this product," said Sutji.

Previously, on Wednesday afternoon, several McDonalds outlets on online delivery applications such as Gofood and Grabfood were closed due to high public interest in buying menu packages for BTS members, namely BTS Meals.

The BTS Meal is a collaboration between BTS and McDonalds and consists of 9 pieces of McNuggets nuggets, two special sauces, namely sweet chili sauce and cajun sauce, medium-sized french fries, and one medium-sized drink.

In Indonesia, this menu is priced at IDR 50,000 including tax and can only be ordered through online applications owned by McDonald's, Gofood, Grabfood, and Shopee Food.
