Police Confiscate the Identity of the Suspected Perpetrators of the Murder of a Korean National in Bekasi

JAKARTA - Police have identified the suspected perpetrator in the case of the death of a South Korean citizen (WN) with the initials S (66) who was found covered in blood at his house in the South Tambun area, Bekasi Regency, Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

Bekasi Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Sumarni said, based on the results of the crime scene investigation (TKP), the victim was allegedly killed.

"It has been successfully identified," said Sumarni when confirmed, Friday, May 29, 2026.

However, the police have not detailed the identity or role of the suspected perpetrators in the case. Currently, investigators are still conducting further pursuit and investigation.

Previously, the police investigated the case of the death of a South Korean citizen with the initials S (66) who was found in a bloody condition at his house in South Tambun, Bekasi Regency.

South Tambun Police Chief Kompol Wuryanti said the case has now risen to the investigation stage. The police have also examined six witnesses to investigate the incident.

"The case is in the investigation stage. The witnesses examined were six people," said Wuryanti.

According to him, until now the police are still waiting for the official results of the autopsy to determine the cause of death of the victim.

"For the results of the autopsy, it has not officially come out," he said.

Wuryanti added that investigators were still developing based on the testimony of witnesses and the results of analysis at the scene.
