Bank Jakarta Wins Indonesia Best CSR in Bank Sector 2026 Award
JAKARTA - Bank Jakarta has won an award as Indonesia's Best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the Bank Sector 2026 at the 8th Anniversary of the Indonesia Best CSR Awards 2026 held by The Iconomics in Jakarta. The award was given to Bank Jakarta for the distribution of Corporate Social Responsibility/Social and Environmental Responsibility throughout 2025 and has a significant impact on the community.
Bank Jakarta President Director, Agus H. Widodo, in a written statement, Thursday, May 21, expressed his gratitude to The Iconomics for the award given, and also dedicated the award to all stakeholders.
"The implementation of Bank Jakarta's CSR/TJSL is part of the implementation of the principles of Environment, Social, Governance, Implementation of corporate governance and is carried out to support development in Jakarta," said Agus.
Furthermore, Agus said that Bank Jakarta's CSR/TJSL program is focused on Education, MSMEs, Environment, Sanitation, Health and Community Empowerment. Throughout 2025, Bank Jakarta has realized a number of community CSR/TJSL programs that have an impact on the community directly. One of them is the realization of the Environmentally Friendly Sanitation Program through the construction of a Communal Septic Tank Installation with the Utilization of Biogas (Biodigester) in the Pekayon area, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta in 2025.
Most recently, Bank Jakarta has provided training support for disabled friends from the Indonesian Disabled Solidarity Foundation (YaSDI). This assistance is in the form of Bank Jakarta's commitment to supporting the improvement of skills, economic independence, and the competitiveness of people with disabilities in the world of work.
In a separate opportunity, Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi said that Bank Jakarta continues to increase the Bank's positive contribution to the community through sustainable CSR/TJSL programs.
"Bank Jakarta will continue to carry out CSR/TJSL which has a direct impact on Development in Jakarta, which is expected to increase empowerment for the community", concluded Arie.
