Directorate General of Oil and Gas Signs Contract for the Construction of 41,000 SR Jargas Cirebon Regency Phase 1
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) through the Directorate General of Oil and Gas (Ditjen Migas) signed the Development and Supervisory Consultant Contract for the Development of the Domestic Gas Network (Jargas) for Cirebon Regency Phase 1.
Director of Oil and Gas Infrastructure Planning and Development Agung Kuswardono said that the signing of this contract was the initial stage of coordination for the implementation of the construction of the Cirebon Regency Jargas infrastructure for the 2026 Fiscal Year by presenting PT PGAS Solution as the construction contractor and PT Surveyor Indonesia as the supervisory consultant.
"Please carry out the work according to the schedule that has been set. When the handover of the work is carried out, we hope that all the work will meet the aspects of quality and timeliness," said Agung, Thursday, May 21.
Furthermore, Agung expressed his appreciation to all parties who have supported the acceleration of the project preparation process to the contract signing stage.
"I appreciate all the teams who have worked hard to prepare this process. We hope that the coordination and commitment of all parties will continue to be maintained so that the implementation of construction can run optimally," added Agung.
On the same occasion, Bambang Utoro as Inspector IV of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources emphasized that supervision of project implementation will be carried out strictly to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
"We will ensure that the work is carried out according to the schedule, quality, and applicable regulatory or compliance provisions. Because the development of Jargas is an important part of supporting national energy resilience and independence," explained Bambang.
The construction of Jargas Cirebon Regency Phase 1 is planned to cover around 41,000 more House Connections (SR) spread across Palimanan, Gempol, Depok, and Dukupuntang Districts.
The implementation of the work began on May 20, 2026 and is targeted to be completed on December 31, 2026.
