Princess Lilibet Helps Meghan Markle Choose Clothes, Mother-Child Photo Becomes the Spotlight
Meghan Markle shared a sweet moment with her daughter, Princess Lilibet, through a recent Instagram post. In the photo, Lilibet is seen sitting on the floor as Meghan stands in front of the mirror in the dressing room.
According to a report by People quoted on Monday, May 18, Meghan uploaded the photo on Saturday, May 16. The Duchess of Sussex was seen wearing a pink outfit. Lilibet, her daughter with Prince Harry, sat in front of her.
"Little assistant Mama," Meghan wrote in the photo caption, accompanied by a purple heart emoji.
The post came a day before Meghan was scheduled to depart for Switzerland. In Geneva, she will attend the inauguration of the Lost Screen Memorial at Place des Nations with WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, global health leaders, and families affected by online harms.
The event was held ahead of the opening of the 79th World Health Assembly.
Meghan and Lilibet also previously took part in a family vacation to Disneyland, Anaheim, California, with Prince Harry and Prince Archie.
"They celebrated the children's birthdays together," a source told People. "The children tried many rides, and it was a special way to extend Mother's Day for Meghan and her mother."
In the travel post, Lilibet is seen hugging Cinderella and meeting Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. Another video shows Mickey Mouse greeting Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, while Meghan watches with Minnie Mouse and Lilibet.
Meghan also shared some family photos while celebrating Archie's seventh birthday on May 6. One of them shows Harry holding a newborn Archie. Another photo shows Archie and Lilibet walking side by side on the beach near their home in Montecito, California.
"7 years later... happy birthday to our sweet boy," Meghan wrote.
Since stepping down from royal roles in 2020, Meghan and Harry have raised their children in California. Meghan has said they want to have a family life that feels normal for their children.
"We often go to dinner, and not just at people's houses or private spaces; we just go to restaurants. I really love that we can just have fun," Meghan told People.
