VVonderland Portraits of Young Romance through Collaboration with Alyssa Ananta in the Single Blanket & Moon

JAKARTA - VVonderland, an alternative-pop unit led by Bayu, Evan and Dedek Kamajaya, is back to greet Indonesian music lovers with a new single titled "Blanket & Moon".

In the latest work, VVonderland collaborated with a talented new singer, Alyssa Ananta.

The presence of "Blanket & Moon" is not only a complement to the discography, but also marks their new step under the management of P4 Entertainment and VMC Music label.

The song production process is unique because it is worked on from three distant locations, even across continents.

The current VVonderland formation is driven by Bayu as a composer who concocts ideas from Switzerland, Evan as a producer in Palembang, and Dedek Kamajaya as a guitarist based in Jakarta.

Dedek, who is also known as the guitarist of Meet After The Storm and Yamaha Guitar brand ambassador, became a crucial bridge in connecting their music production with the national industry in the capital.

Meanwhile, VVonderland's meeting with Alyssa Ananta is inseparable from the role of Armada's guitarist, Mai, who also produced Alyssa's solo project as part of the P4 Entertainment family.

Mai sees a harmony of artistic vision between Alyssa and the song material belonging to VVonderland. Alyssa's presence is considered able to perfect the composition that has been prepared by Bayu and Evan.

"I see that there is a similar frequency between the projects that I am working on with Alyssa and the musical vibe that Bayu and Evan built," Mai said in a statement, Monday, May 18.

"As soon as they sent the demo 'Blanket & Moon', I immediately knew that Alyssa's voice was the missing puzzle piece in this song," added the Armada guitarist.

As for the music, "Blanket & Moon" offers a mix of majestic arrangements with a personal vocal delivery.

In terms of production, this song presents a wide and cinematic ambience. Despite this, Alyssa's vocal character is still maintained with an intimate and close style - giving the impression of being directly telling a story in front of the listener.

The lyrical point of view is quite down-to-earth and relevant to the reality of today's young people's relationships. The diction in this song also tries to capture the essence of honest romance and away from the impression of luxury.
